As we prepare to leave for Spain in a few days, I am creating this blog so friends and family can keep up with our adventures and travels while in Spain. You are sending your sons off on this amazing adventure that I know they will remember for their entire lives. In some cases it may even be life altaring in terms of college and career choices. I shall encourage them to post here and of course to journal, and I shall do my best to keep you all up to date on our comings and goings. Please feel free to comment. Look for postings beginning shortly after our arrival on Saturday.

Deirdre I hope you are all well and settling into your scedules and classes. I reminded of something my father told me when I first went abroad..."A SMILE is universally translated or understood worldwide". and I hope you are all smiling each day as you grow in the experiences of the culture, the food, and the learning this experience provides all of you!
